How do I open a Six Park account?

The first step is to complete an online assessment. This helps us understand your personal circumstances, financial goals and risk tolerance and also allows us to determine whether our investment portfolio options are appropriate for you.

Once you’ve completed the online assessment, there are a few things that need to happen before your funds can be invested:

  1. Confirm your email address via the automated email you will receive from Six Park - you’ll need to do this within 14 days.
  2. Complete your Six Park application - you’ll need to have some information handy to complete this step, such as your driver’s licence or passport, your Tax File Number, and your unique completion PIN sent to you via email after you’ve completed the online risk assessment.
  3. Once you’ve completed your Six Park application, we will establish your Openmarkets trading account and a Macquarie cash management account (CMA).
  4. You will receive a separate email from Macquarie and an SMS reminder to help you finalise your application and authorise your new Macquarie CMA.  The email from Macquarie will include a link to your pre-populated Macquarie application and a unique Macquarie PIN to finalise your application. Macquarie will confirm when your account is active and you can deposit funds into your CMA. To deposit funds into your CMA, please follow these steps. Please let us know via email if you are making multiple initial deposits so we can wait for the full amount to be available in your CMA before investing your funds. Once your account is active, you’ll have 90 days to authorise it and deposit funds before it is closed.
  5. We work with Openmarkets to create your trading account. Please be aware that it can take a couple of days for these accounts to become active.
